Hi here Iam going to show how to change color of dos window.

To change the foreground color and background color use color command.

 

color command is a Internal command. color command works in Windows operating system.

Syntax

color [attr1attr2]

In color command user can use two attributes attribute 1 is for background color and attribute 2 is for foreground color

The values of attributes are Hexa Decimal numbers

Example

 color A2

The values of color command

0  = BLACK

1 = BLUE

2 = GREEN

3 = AQUA

4 = RED

5 = PURPLE

6 = YELLOW

7 = WHITE

8 = GRAY

9 = LIGHT BLUE

A = LIGHT GREEN

B = LIGHT AQUA

C = LIGHT RED

D = LIGHT PURPLE

E = LIGHT YELLOW

F = BRIGHT WHITE
